Sharjah24: Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA) has launched a “Chatbot service ” through its interactive platform at City Center Al Zahia, designed to showcase the authority's services and provide integrated solutions for customers. This initiative is part of the authority's efforts to enhance service quality and meet customer needs.
His Excellency Engineer Youssef Khamis Al Othmani, Chairman of the Roads and Transport Authority in Sharjah, revealed that the new service allows communication via major social media platforms such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, and Facebook, which helps expedite responses to various inquiries and ensures replies within just 24 hours.

He confirmed that the launch of the “Chatbot System” is part of the authority's digital transformation strategy to elevate the level of services offered, enhancing direct communication with the public and providing a modern interactive environment that supports speed and efficiency in service delivery.

For his part, Abdulaziz Al Jarwan, Director of the Authority for Transport Affairs, explained that in line with the country's policy and the directives of the Sharjah government regarding climate neutrality, the Roads and Transport Authority has embraced sustainable and environmentally friendly transport by launching 10 electric buses this year, which are now operating on intercity routes. Last year, the authority also introduced 8 electric taxis, all of which have proven effective. He noted that the authority currently operates 5,000 taxis, nearly 2,700 of which are hybrid, and aims to serve the public in Sharjah and across the country by continuing to keep pace with all that is new and environmentally friendly in the transport sector.
