Sharjah 24: Ahmed Murad Ali Al Amiri, member of the Board of Directors of Dibba Al Hisn Football Club and Chairman of the Football Academy and Football School Committee, honoured a number of distinguished players in the club, during a ceremony held at the club’s headquarters.
It is worth noting that Dibba Al Hisn Football Club attaches special importance to developing young players, and is keen to provide support and assistance to them through advanced training programmes and various competitions, as the club seeks to be a fundamental pillar in developing football talents in the region.
Abdullah Khalid Al Marzouqi, the current top scorer in the U-15 B League, was honoured for his outstanding performance this season.
Rashid Obaid Rashid Khasaw, who came in second place in the U-15 B League top scorers list, was also honoured for his high skills and competitive spirit.
The third player to be honoured was Hamdan Mahdi Harash, who came in third place in the U-11 C League top scorers list, after showing remarkable potential that qualifies him to be one of the players the club can count on in the future.
The honouring ceremony was attended by Thani Abdullah Al Bawab, the sector supervisor, along with a number of coaches and administrators who have played a major role in developing the players’ skills and caring for them.
The attendees expressed their pride and appreciation for the achievements made by the young players, stressing that such initiatives contribute to strengthening the sense of belonging to the club and encourage players to excel and innovate more in the future.
In a statement during the ceremony, Ahmed Murad Ali Al Amiri stressed that this honour is an encouragement for the players to exert more effort and work on developing their level in football.
He added: “We at Dibba Al Hisn Club always seek to support and develop our academy players by providing a suitable sports environment, and by honouring such distinguished players, we send a message to everyone that excellence and achievement are celebrated.”
