Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Sports Council met with the UAE Athletics Federation to discuss the steps for organising an annual marathon in the Emirate's name. The meeting, led by His Excellency Major General Dr Mohammed Al Murr and His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Council, focused on accrediting the international event and determining the ideal time and location for it.
Al Hazami expressed enthusiasm for the continued collaboration, highlighting its potential to develop athletics and enhance the Emirate's sports capabilities. Dr Al Murr praised the Council’s efforts and the ongoing cooperation, looking forward to further investment in Sharjah's sports potential.
