In his speech, Al Qaseer highlighted the ongoing support from His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah for the Sharjah Award for Fine Arts Critical Research. He stated, “We gather today to honor the winners of the 15th session of the award, themed ‘The Arab World in Artistic Orientalism... Aesthetic Civilizational Dimensions.’ Since its establishment in 2008, this award has operated under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. This support has contributed to the award’s reputation in the field of Arab fine arts criticism. Over the past 15 years, it has played a role in advancing visual aesthetic discourse and supporting the work of Arab critics.”
The objectives of the Sharjah Award for Fine Arts Critical Research are numerous and encompass significant historical aspects related to fine arts research. These objectives have played a role in enhancing the award's prominence within the Arab region, given its distinctive focus in this important field.

Al Qaseer expressed gratitude for the hard work of the jury, which included Dr. Abdul Nabi Astif from Syria, Dr. Salam Jabbar from Iraq, and Dr. Charbel Dagher from Lebanon. They dedicated themselves to thoroughly examining and evaluating all the submitted papers.
The winners have been announced as part of the Sharjah Award for Critical Visual Arts Research. The first-place recipient is Abdullah Al Sheikh from Morocco for his research titled “The Arab World in Orientalist Art: Civilizational and Aesthetic Dimensions.” The second-place recipient is Atef Saad from Egypt for his research “The Aesthetic and Plastic Vision of Orientalist Artists for Equestrian Scenes in Egypt during the 13th Century AH / 19th Century AD.” Congratulations are extended to the winners in this session.
In the jury's speech, Dr. Salam Jabbar noted that the award has made significant strides in critical visual arts research over the past 15 years, as evidenced by the high-quality output of the winning studies and research across various topics. Jabbar emphasized that the award results and the selection of winners were guided by specific criteria that the jury used, including the level of scientific language, the originality of the research, and the dynamism of both the presentation and approach. They also considered how well the language fit the context of visual arts. Dr. Salam Jabbar took the opportunity to congratulate the two award winners, wishing them continued success in this creative field.
