Sharjah24: Sharjah Police signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Future Labs, aiming to enhance joint cooperation in developing and expanding the scope of future security studies and applying their results in line with standards of leadership and excellence, supporting the Sharjah Police's efforts to innovate advanced solutions that contribute to achieving the highest levels of security efficiency.
Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, affirmed that foresight is a central pillar in the journey of Sharjah Police. He stated that developing a flexible and sustainable security system capable of addressing future challenges is a strategic priority in light of current security changes and challenges.
He noted that the Sharjah Police has established the foundations and key pillars over the past years, implementing a working methodology that enhances these future-oriented directions in line with the UAE's strategy for foresight, and achieving the vision of the Emirate of Sharjah in building a sustainable and secure environment that meets the aspirations of its residents for a more prosperous and advanced future.
He added that Sharjah Police aims to achieve excellence in managing the security future of the emirate, enhancing its status as one of the safest and most sustainable cities in the world, and reinforcing its leadership in providing innovative security solutions that serve the community and enhance quality of life.
This came during the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Sharjah Police and Future Labs, represented by Dr. Derek Woodget, Director of Future Labs and a researcher in foresight at DMS International Academy. The aim is to enhance joint cooperation in developing and expanding the scope of future security studies and applying their results in line with standards of leadership and excellence , supporting the Sharjah Police's efforts in innovating advanced solutions that contribute to achieving the highest levels of security efficiency.
Bin Amer praised the memorandum, which represents a pivotal step in enhancing joint cooperation between the two sides, contributing to achieving strategic goals that support the future agenda of Sharjah Police through developing studies and establishing solid foundations for anticipating security challenges and innovating appropriate solutions.
