Sharjah24: Manchester United kicks off their defense of the English Football Association (FA) Cup title with a strong match against hosts Arsenal in the third round, as revealed by the draw.
Tottenham will face Tamworth , and Manchester City will play Salford City .
Accrington Stanley, currently in sixth place in League Two, will meet Premier League leaders Liverpool at Anfield, while Chelsea will take on bottom-tier League Two side Morecambe at home.
Arsenal, the record title-holder of the competition with 14 titles compared to Manchester United's 13, last won the cup in 2020. United, on the other hand, triumphed over Manchester City in the final of the previous season, marking their second consecutive derby victory in the championship final.
The third round matches will take place between January 11 and 12, featuring 44 clubs from the Premier League and the Championship, in addition to 20 clubs from the lower divisions.
