Sharjah24: Sharjah Asset Management, the investment arm of the Sharjah Government, celebrated the UAE's 53rd Eid Al Etihad with a significant event at Souq Al Jubail in Sharjah. His Excellency Waleed Al Sayegh, CEO of the group, was present at the event, joined by company leaders and employees from a range of projects and subsidiaries.
The celebrations began with the raising of the UAE flag and the playing of the national anthem, which was succeeded by a series of cultural, traditional, and patriotic performances, including poetry recitations. Guests experienced a vibrant boat parade along the waterfront of Souq Al Jubail,
The event was held in partnership with the Sharjah Cooperative Society for Fishermen and the Sharjah Marine Sports Club. Children from the Royal English Nursery attracted the audience with a musical performance that celebrated the nation's heritage and unity.
Salim Al Midfa, Chief Executive of Corporate Communications and Customer Service at Sharjah Asset Management, emphasised the importance of the occasion, stating: "Today, we commemorate the 53rd anniversary of the UAE's Union, a significant moment to consider the extraordinary advancements and prosperity accomplished by the nation." This moment serves to recognise the remarkable path formed by our founding fathers, who established the foundations for a solid and flourishing nation grounded in unity and sustainable progress.
He further stated: "At Sharjah Asset Management, we are dedicated to driving the UAE’s journey of growth and prosperity. By initiating and executing a variety of projects and investments, we strive to excel across all sectors, enhancing the UAE’s position both regionally and globally."
