Sharjah24: Al Kharous community celebrated the UAE’s 53rd Eid Al Etihad on November 29 with a lively event that highlighted the nation’s rich heritage and cultural traditions. The celebrations commenced with a parade starting at the Sahaba Al Salha Mosque and making its way to the Al Kharous Public Park, showcasing traditional songs local community members, a military band, and various cultural performances.
The event took place from 4 PM to 9 PM and featured national displays, competitions, and a showcase of traditional crafts and delicacies presented by local families.
Featured were performances by razfa and Al-Harbiya, a captivating military band display, along with engaging educational workshops tailored for children.
Jumaa Abdullah Al Hammoudi, Chairman of the Al Kharous Community Council, highlighted the significance of the Eid Al Etihad celebration, stressing that the event brought together all segments of the community, centered around heritage, culture, and tradition. He added that it also features traditional chants, local delicacies, and cultural parades, serving as a heartfelt occasion for residents to express their love and loyalty to the nation, while celebrating its history and preserving traditions for future generations.
