Sharjah24: Lavish Perfumes has contributed financial support to the Sharjah Charity International (SCI), facilitating the drilling of 53 wells in regions served by the association's initiatives. This significant contribution coincides with the UAE’s 53rd Eid Al Etihad celebrations and highlights the crucial role of social responsibility in businesses by promoting active participation from the private sector in humanitarian efforts.
Khaled Abdelaziz Al Qassab, Director of the Fundraising Department at the Sharjah Charity International (SCI), conveyed heartfelt appreciation to Lavish Perfumes for their continuous support, which enhances the SCI’s charitable initiatives. The SCI announced plans to collaborate with its Projects and External Aid Department to pinpoint regions severely impacted by drought, water scarcity, and rainfall. The wells will act as a crucial resource, delivering clean drinking water to communities in need, and will be integral to the association’s ongoing well-drilling efforts throughout the year.
Adel Al Hashimi, Chairman of Lavish Perfumes Group, emphasised the significance of the UAE Eid Al Etihad as a source of inspiration for the nation’s people and a celebration of the wise leadership’s enduring legacy. In honour of the UAE’s 53rd year of unity, Lavish Perfumes has pledged to drill 53 wells in underdeveloped countries grappling with severe water scarcity. This initiative aligns with the vision of the UAE’s Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and his fellow founders.
Al Hashimi underscored the importance of collaboration between the private sector and government entities, highlighting their role in fostering comprehensive development, serving communities, and promoting humanitarian efforts. He noted that these partnerships contribute to spreading values of tolerance globally, inspiring the UAE’s stature on the international stage.
