In a special statement to Sharjah 24, Al Shamsi said: "Today, we celebrate this cherished occasion in Hamriyah with a series of heritage, cultural, social, artistic, and family activities, including children’s competitions. We have witnessed a strong turnout of both citizens and residents in Hamriyah joining in the celebrations of the 53rd Eid Al Etihad."
He further confirmed that the celebrations were rich with activities, including traditional songs performed by folk bands, and a parade of the local community in honour of the 53rd Eid Al Etihad. The organising committees have prepared national competitions and events in addition to the festivities.
Al Shamsi also noted that as part of the celebrations across the Emirate of Sharjah, the people of Hamriyah renew their pledge to the nation on this special day and extend their deepest gratitude and appreciation to the wise leadership, who have spared no effort in raising the nation to greater heights.
