Sharjah24: The Parents Council of Diba Al-Hisn, affiliated with the Districts Affairs Department, in collaboration with the Academic Centre for Consulting and Institutional Development, organised a training programme titled "Using Thinking Skills to Solve Educational Problems."
Held at the council’s headquarters in Diba Al-Hisn, the workshop aimed to foster community partnership between schools, families, and the wider community, creating a positive educational environment that encourages constructive interaction between parents, educators, and students.

The training was led by Rashid Obaid Al-Salami, a certified trainer in human development and institutional development, who introduced participants to creative thinking skills and effective strategies for solving problems in the educational field.

The programme was enriched by the participation of a distinguished group of parents, educators, students, and volunteers from the "Badir" volunteering initiative. Also in attendance were His Excellency Mohammed Rashid Rashoud Al-Hamoudi, Chairman of the Council, along with several committee heads, council members, and staff.

The session focused on developing participants' creative thinking abilities and familiarising them with key strategies for addressing educational challenges. It also addressed the tools and approaches that can help apply thinking skills positively to improve educational outcomes and enhance collaboration between families and schools in overcoming educational obstacles.

The programme included interactive training exercises, such as brainstorming sessions, where participants discussed potential solutions for common educational issues and how to tackle challenges faced by both parents and teachers in nurturing students. Special emphasis was placed on identifying practical alternatives that can be implemented within the family to strengthen relationships with children and support their academic journeys.
