Sharjah24: The winners of the archery, electronic rowing, and karate competitions at the ongoing fourth Kalba Beach Games received patronage from Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikh Saeed bin Saqr bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Head of the Ruler’s Office in Khor Fakkan, and Sheikh Haitham bin Saqr bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Head of the Ruler’s Office in Kalba. The event, marked by high spirits and a substantial audience, featured remarkable demonstrations of talent in a range of sports.
During the triathlon events held on Sunday, 10 November 2024, Olympic athlete Hayden Wilde secured first place in the men’s Olympic category, with Filipe Azevedo finishing in second and Rafael Domingos in third. Lottie Lucas secured first place in the women’s Olympic category, followed by Leah Lenschow in second and Imogen Llewellyn in third.

During the archery competitions, Andra Chand and Rasha Yahya secured the men’s and women’s titles in the recurve Olympic category, while Ahmed Misto and Batul Mohini emerged victorious in the compound category. Saeed Hatem triumphed in the men’s 500m category, while Heba Allah Yasser secured the top time for women in the electronic rowing competition.

Additional events featured beach volleyball, where Adelia Akhmetova and Olga Motrich secured the women’s title, and football, in which Kalba triumphed over Al Hameedi with a score of 6-1. The tournament persists in providing thrilling moments along the eastern coast’s "Jewel of Kalba."
