The delegation, led by His Excellency Mohammed Obaid Al-Hossan, a member of the Board of Directors of Sharjah Sports Club and Head of the Group Games Department, includes players, administrative, technical, and medical staff, as well as support services. The camp will feature morning and evening training sessions, and the team is scheduled to play three friendly matches to assess their readiness for the tournament.
Nine clubs will compete in the championship, divided into two groups. Sharjah is in Group A alongside Al Rayyan (Qatar), Kuwait SC (Kuwait), and Al Shabab (Bahrain). Group B consists of Al Duhail (Qatar), Al Khaleej (Saudi Arabia), Kazma (Kuwait), Ahli Sidab (Oman), and Mes Kerman (Iran).
Sharjah will begin its preliminary round matches on November 13 against Kuwait SC, followed by games against Al Rayyan on November 14 and Al Shabab on November 16. The tournament will feature a single-round league system for the group stage, leading to quarter-finals and knockout rounds to determine the final rankings.
Notably, Sharjah recently won the Emirates Cup, their first title of the local season, and has previously secured bronze medals in the Asian Championship in 2019, in both Kuwait and South Korea.
