SSC delegation includes Mohammed Ali bin Hammad, Director of the Government Communication Department, as Chairman; Hafsa Abdullah Al Ali, Head of the Public Services Section at the Support Services Department; and Maryam Ali Shahil, Head of the Marketing and Promotion Section at the Government Communication Department.
The Council is keen to participate annually in the exhibition being a global platform that allows building important marketing relationships and partnerships. In addition, it is considered an excellent means of promoting SSC annual plans and programmes in general, and sports and community activities and events that promote the emirate as a tourist destination in particular, whereas Sharjah hosts several local and international events annually, that combine sports and tourism and enjoy wide participation from different nationalities, in addition to hosting and organising global tournaments and events that attract athletes and others.
Mohammed Ali bin Hammad, head of the Council’s delegation, stressed that being present at this event enhances all the gains achieved from participating in previous editions of the exhibition, which has provided and continues to provide a great opportunity to build relationships and bridges of cooperation with international institutions and global companies that are tempted to come to the UAE, to invest, market or promote through sponsoring and organising sports events. Mohammed Ali bin Hammad added that the Council is aware of the major role that sports play in advertising, and is well aware of the distinction of the clubs and infrastructure in Sharjah, and how they ensure the success of any event.
