Al Hamriyah win 24 medals at competitive swimming Championship

Sharjah 24: The Al Hamriyah swimming team secured an impressive 24 medals (9 gold, 7 silver, and 8 bronze) at the UAE Competitive Cup Championship held at the Hamdan Complex in Dubai on November 2-3, 2024. The event featured 900 swimmers from 100 nationalities, representing 35 government and academic clubs.
Athar Islam led the team with 4 gold medals, followed by Yahya Mustafa with 3, and both Youssef Khader and Youssef Salah each earning one gold. The silver medals included 4 from Omar Ajoud, along with one each from Hassan Al Shehhi, Ziad Fouad, and Marwan Omar. In the bronze category, Hassan Al Shehhi claimed two medals, while Abdullah Omar, Yahya Mustafa, Ziad Fouad, Athar Islam, Omar Ajoud, and Youssef Khader each added one.

The team, along with technical director Ahmed Gamal El-Din, expressed their gratitude for the support from the club's board of directors, which contributed to their success.
