Sharjah24: The UAE Football Association (UAEFA), on Wednesday, conducted a workshop named "Sports Integrity and Anti-Doping" for the first team players of Al Hamriyah Club, taking place at the club’s hotel council.
The workshop, led by Shadi Iskander, Acting Director of the Legal Department at the Football Association, focused on three critical topics: match-fixing, betting companies, and the risks associated with doping.
Present at the workshop were first-team players, the coaching staff, the medical team, and Head Coach Abdullah Hassan. Coach Abdullah commended the Association's initiative, highlighting its significance in informing players about legal issues and and helping them avoid any violations that could harm both the player and the club in areas of betting and match manipulation.
