Sharjah24: The Al Batayeh futsal team won the Super Cup title after defeating Khorfakkan 6-2 in a match held on Wednesday at the Al Ahli Club hall in Dubai.
Al Batayeh participated in the Super Cup as the champion of last season's futsal league, while Khorfakkan entered as the runner-up of the Emirates Cup, which was won by Al Batayeh.
Al Batayeh had previously won the Super Cup in the last edition after defeating Khorfakkan 6-5 in a penalty shootout.
Al Wasl team is the most successful in Super Cup history, having won the title four consecutive times, followed by Al Dhafra with three titles. Other teams, including Khorfakkan, Al Wahda, Al Nasr, Al Ahli, Kalba, and Al Batayeh, have each won the title once.
