Sharjah 24: The archery team of the Sharjah Women’s Sports Club succeeded in winning 4 coloured medals during its participation in the Open International Archery Championship held at the Officers Club in Sharjah. The medals included two golds for both Amina Al-Awadhi and Sinehal Devakar, a silver for Rawda Al-Awadi, and a bronze for Maha Al-Hosni.
The championship witnessed the participation of champions from 8 countries: Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Syria, Turkey, Australia, South Korea, alongside the host country, the UAE.
Representing the Sharjah Women’s Sports Club in the championship were Samia Odineva and Sara Al-Blooshi in the Under-18 category. In the women’s category, participants included Amina Al-Awadhi, Rawda Al-Awadhi, Meitha Al-Nuaimi (compound bow), Mira Al-Sayegh, Hessa Al-Awadhi, Sinehal Devakar, Maha Al-Hosani, Rasha Ahmed, and Fatima Al-Blooshi (compound bow).
