Sharjah Equestrian Track launches 2024-2025 racing season

Sharjah24: The Sharjah Equestrian Track last night, marked the beginning of the 2024-2025 racing season, featuring an event held under the esteemed patronage of the global company "Longines."

The horses of "Yas for Racing" delivered outstanding performances at the season's inaugural event, with colts "Tayyar Al Wathba" and "Sari" claiming an impressive double victory.

The event featured six races in total, five dedicated to purebred Arabian horses and the sixth exclusively for thoroughbred competitors.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Majid Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club; Sultan Al Yahyai, the club's Director General; and Patrick Aoun, Regional Director of Longines, attended the event, joined by numerous specialists in equestrian sports.
