Sharjah24: The Sharjah Department of Human Resources (SDHR) has started a series of seminars and sessions under the theme "Visions towards Sustainable Leadership," stemming from the department's commitment to achieving the vision of wise leadership in leadership across various human resources fields and developing institutional performance by promoting a culture of developing and improving work environments.
The first session titled "Building Flexible and Sustainable Work Environments" was launched at Al Jadah Hall in Sharjah, in the presence of His Excellency Majid Hamad Al Marri, Director of the Sharjah Department of Human Resources , along with several managers, officials, and employees from various Sharjah government entities, institutions, and departments.
The session, presented by Captain Asem Al Awais, Director of Officer Performance Evaluation Branch at Sharjah Police, covered four main axes. The first addressed sustainability and the fundamentals of building a flexible work environment that contributes to achieving sustainability, the role of officials in shaping this environment, and the importance of setting employee goals. The second axis focused on stereotypes and intellectual perspectives, their impact on the employee's mindset in the work environment, their role in facing challenges encountered in the workplace, mastering teamwork, and improving performance through it.
As for the third axis, it discussed monitoring and continuity, the role of integrated plans in facilitating the process of achieving continuity of accomplishments in work environments, the distractions that hinder continuity and monitoring, and how to deal with individual beliefs within work systems. The fourth axis touched on organizing and managing time while maintaining creativity in the context of setting specific and defined goals. It also addressed tracking mechanisms and achieving work with high quality regardless of quantity.
Regarding the session, Majid Hamad Al Marri, Director of the Human Resources Department, said in a statement: "The Department of Human Resources organizes a series of seminars and sessions 'Visions towards Sustainable Leadership' in line with the aspirations of our wise leadership towards future foresight and supporting leadership in government work areas. It discusses strategies for developing business environments with flexibility and sustainability, allowing the exchange of ideas and visions that support innovation and enhance efficiency. Its outcomes contribute to reshaping work environments in line with global changes." He added that this series will be an important platform for presenting valuable experiences from expert opinions, specialists, and researchers, and best practices in developing innovative business environments. This confirms the department's commitment to developing institutional performance and achieving sustainability in work environments.
