‘Waffer’ exhibition at Khorfakkan's Sharjah Maritime Academy

The event sought to present the new benefits and exclusive offers available to "Waffer" cardholders, including participation from various companies engaged in the programme

The exhibition saw the presence of Majid Hamad Al Marri, Director of the Department of Human Resources, and Dr Mohammed Abdullah Al-Murr, Chairman of the Khorfakkan Municipal Council. 

Abdulrahman Al Naqbi, the Director of Khorfakkan Municipality, and Sultan Mohammed Al Ketbi, the Deputy Director of the Branch Affairs Department at the Sharjah Human Resources Department.

Various companies presented distinctive services and discounts for "Waffer" cardholders, emphasizing the advantages of competitive pricing, improved financial management, and enhanced service quality. Businesses that participated included Beach Resort, Al Bait Hotel, Avani Palm View Dubai Hotel and Suites, Emirates Airline, Air Arabia, Aramex, and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, among others.

Majid Hamad Al Marri highlighted the dedication of the Human Resources Department to bolster Sharjah's initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of government employees and "Waffer" beneficiaries through the provision of top-notch services and exclusive discounts. He commended the Sharjah Maritime Academy in Khorfakkan for backing the programme, emphasizing the significance of cooperation among Sharjah’s institutions.

Jawahar Saif Al Oud, Director of Events and Activities and the "Waffer" Programme, emphasized that the organization of "Waffer" exhibitions throughout the emirate serves to showcase the advantages of the card and enhance users' financial management skills. The event offered a chance to connect with beneficiaries from the eastern region and collect feedback to enhance the programme.

The exhibition unveiled the new digital version of the "Waffer" app, which provides a variety of programmes and benefits, simplifying access for users to the card's services and discounts.

Several officials from various departments and institutions in the Eastern Region attended the event, alongside representatives from the Sharjah Human Resources Department.
