Sharjah Media City (Shams) has received a bronze award at the Stevie Awards Middle East and North Africa (MENA), in the category of Communications or PR Campaign of the Year - Arts & Entertainment for its screenwriting initiative, Hekaya (Script Room).
In the 'Best Communication Campaign in the Arts and Entertainment Sector' category. 

Arts & Entertainment Communication 2024” category for its ‘Writing Room’ initiative to discover to discover media talent and allow them to develop their skills in scriptwriting and content development. 

The award was handed over at a grand ceremony held in Istanbul, Turkey. 

Rashid Abdalla Al Obad, Managing Director of Sharjah Media City (Shams) stated that Sharjah Media City (Shams) is honoured to receive this prestigious International Business Award for the second time in a row after receiving the Bronze Award for 2023 in the Customer Service category.

The award comes as a confirmation of Shams' commitment to graduating a new generation of creatives from the UAE and the Arab world, and to elevate the creative industries to support the national economy and enhance its competitiveness in the future.

The Global Stevie Awards recognize the achievements and positive contributions made by organizations and individuals globally.
