The meeting took place at the General Command Headquarters and was attended by high-ranking officials such as Brigadier Ahmed Al Serkal, Director General of Police Operations, Brigadier Abdullah bin Nassar, Acting Director General of Resources and Support Services, Brigadier Dr. Ali Bu Al Zoud, Deputy Director General of Central Operations, Engineer Lamia Al Noman, Head of the Unified Security and Safety Team, and Lieutenant Colonel Faisal Al Tunaiji, Deputy Team. The meeting also saw the participation of team members and several officials from both sides.
Major General Bin Amer emphasized the importance of collaborating with and backing strategic partners to accomplish shared objectives that benefit the public. He commended the SPSA for its significant role in collaborating with relevant government entities to enhance preventive and awareness measures. He highlighted that the unified team's concerted efforts have substantially influenced the characteristics of occupational accidents, ultimately contributing to the establishment of a secure and sustainable work environment in the emirate.
The meeting focused on enhancing joint cooperation frameworks regarding the latest developments in the unified team's work from 2021 to 2024. This included reviewing the results of the Sharjah Occupational Safety and Health System, key statistics on occupational accidents, annual reports, and important recommendations and proposed solutions for system development to ensure occupational environment safety in the emirate.
