Sharjah24: Dr. Abdullah Khalaf Al-Hosani, Secretary General of the Sharjah Holy Quran Academy (HQA), extended a warm welcome to Dr Anas bin Isa Al-Amadi, a distinguished reciter from the Kingdom of Bahrain, along with his accompanying delegation.
The visit, which included several Academy staff members, is a continuation of the collaboration between the Academy and the Ajman Ramadan Programme.
Dr. Al-Hosani conveyed his satisfaction upon welcoming Sheikh Al-Amadi, underscoring the significance of enhancing collaborations among Quranic institutions to showcase the UAE’s commitment to the Quran and its studies.
The visit featured a tour of the academy's museums, where Dr. Al-Hosani presented rare manuscripts and artifacts related to the history of Quranic writing and studies.
The Academy introduced Sheikh Al-Amadi to its scientific projects, research activities, and specialized library, as well as its collaboration with local universities and media studios that support Quran memorisation.
Sheikh Al-Amadi commended the Sharjah Quran Academy, describing it as a distinctive institution in Quranic service that embodies the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah. He expressed his gratitude to the management for their generous hospitality.
