He highlighted the necessity for collective efforts to serve the Emirate of Sharjah, focusing on the development of individuals from childhood. The council presented several initiatives aimed at enhancing education, housing, employment, and comprehensive care, alongside strengthening the economy. These efforts are intended to support family stability, which in turn benefits the wider community.
Dr Al Nuaimi remarked on the commencement of the second ordinary session of the eleventh legislative term of the council, following a successful initial parliamentary session. This presents an opportunity for council members to diligently pursue the leadership’s objectives.
He expressed confidence that the council's committees would persist in their national duties in line with the visions of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammed Al Qasimi, contributing balanced ideas and recommendations that empower various departments and governmental entities while enhancing achievements and progress.
He encouraged all members to engage in fruitful cooperation and ongoing activity to attain the goals set by His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, thereby contributing to sustainable development and prosperity for the emirate.
This statement was made during his chairing of the first meeting of the Bureau of the Consultative Council of Sharjah, which was held in preparation for the opening of the second parliamentary session of the eleventh legislative term, scheduled for October 10 at the council's headquarters in Sharjah.
The meeting, hosted at the council's offices, was attended by Halima Hamid Al Owais, Vice Chair of the Council, Mohammed Ali Jaber Al Hammadi, Chairman of the Legislative and Legal Affairs Committee, Sheikha Ali Al Naqbi, Chairwoman of the Education, Youth, Culture, and Media Committee, Engineer Jamila Al Fandi Al Shamsi, Chairwoman of the Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Municipalities, and Public Utilities Committee, Mohammed Saleh Al Ali, Chairman of the Health, Labour, and Social Affairs Committee, and Saeed Mattar Bin Hamid Al Tnaiji, Chairman of the Family Affairs Committee, among others.
