Sharjah24: The Sharjah Award for Voluntary Works (SAVW) praised the efforts of Beit Al Khair Society in promoting volunteer work and social responsibility, utilizing these efforts to serve the community and underprivileged families.
This recognition was marked by a visit from the award's delegation to the headquarters of Beit Al Khair Society in Dubai, where they presented a financial check worth 50,000 dirhams to the association in celebration of its first-place win in the 21st edition of the Volunteer Award, which was held in May. This initiative was in line with the directives of the award's Board of Trustees to allocate financial prizes to the winning charitable organizations.
The delegation was received by His Excellency Abdeen Tahir Al Awadi, the Director General of Beit Al Khair Society , and Mohammed Ali Abu Raheema, the Assistant Director General. The delegation was led by Dr. Jassim Al Hammadi, Secretary-General of the award, alongside Fatima Mousa Al Blooshi, a member of the Board of Trustees and Executive Director of the SAVW.
This motivating gesture reflects the award's support for charitable organizations that play a significant role in providing community services that benefit society and contribute to enhancing the culture of volunteer work and social responsibility.

Al Hammadi pointed out that the SAVW plays a pivotal role in disseminating and promoting the concepts of volunteering among various segments of society. He explained that the first-place winning charitable organization receives a financial prize of 50,000 dirhams, while the second and third places receive 30,000 and 20,000 dirhams.
