Bin Amer inspects operations at Eastern Region Police department

Major General bin Amer reviewed the workflow in various departments and branches and received a detailed briefing on the services provided to the community, as well as the security, traffic, and awareness plans and initiatives, including smart and self-service options, and services tailored for the elderly and persons with disabilities. The visit also included a tour of the Khorfakkan Comprehensive Police Station, where key criminal and traffic reports received at the station were reviewed, and discussions were held regarding security and community challenges.

The tour also included a visit to the crime scene and the Anti-Narcotics Department, where Major General bin Amer followed up on security cases and the legal actions taken regarding them. He then inspected the vehicle and driver licensing building, listening to explanations about the procedures in place and the challenges faced by the center in improving the quality of services provided. He concluded his visit by inspecting the operations room and the detention building, where he reviewed the readiness of facilities to handle emergency situations and received a detailed explanation of the procedures followed in dealing with detainees.
