Sharjah 24: Mohammed Ibrahim Al Qaseer, Director of the Cultural Affairs Department at the Sharjah Department of Culture and Director of the 11th Sharjah Calligraphy Forum, announced that the contemporary international exhibitions, launched on Thursday at the Sharjah Art Museum, feature 13 artists from various countries.
He revealed that the 65 works feature modern calligraphy, utilising various artistic forms, including murals, pottery, ceramics, and modern design.

Al Qaseer noted in a statement to "Sharjah 24" that the exhibition "Taraqeems," by Egyptian artist Hossam Abdel Wahab has opened at the Emirates Fine Arts Society, featuring 76 artworks. He added that all exhibitions will run until November 30.

He highlighted that the forum has expanded to include new participants from countries such as Mexico, Indonesia, and Singapore, marking their first involvement. Additionally, artists from the United States, Britain, Italy, Colombia, Turkey, Argentina, Pakistan, Spain, Iran, and several Arab nations—including the UAE, Oman, Morocco, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Kuwait, Sudan, Iraq, Lebanon, and Syria—are also represented.
