Sharjah 24: Ahmed Al Kindi, Head of Suppliers Department at Sharjah Finance Department (SFD), confirmed that the department's commitment to supporting entrepreneurial projects in "Ruwad" is more than just a step towards empowering small and medium enterprises, but rather part of a comprehensive strategy to promote entrepreneurship in Sharjah.
Al Kindi said that SFD seeks to create an innovative and sustainable work environment that directly contributes to supporting and developing the local economy.

Ahmed Al Kindi explained that SFD has implemented a set of initiatives aimed at supporting and distinguishing "Ruwad"  projects within the government financial system adopted by all government agencies in Sharjah. These initiatives included directing government agencies to the importance of dealing with these entrepreneurial projects and giving them priority in implementation, in addition to facilitating the process of registering them as approved suppliers with Sharjah government, and developing a special electronic platform that allows project owners to continuously monitor the status of their projects, to ensure transparency of operations and enhance communication between government agencies and suppliers.

Al Kindi pointed out that SFD has issued clear directives to expedite the disbursement of dues to suppliers affiliated with "Ruwad", stressing that these measures aim to support the continuity of pioneering projects and ensure their success. SFD also urged suppliers to participate effectively in price requests and government tenders, which increases their chances of expansion and success, and contributes to driving the wheel of economic development in Sharjah and achieving the emirate's vision for comprehensive development.
