Kallba Short Plays Festival "11" proceeds successfully

Sharjah 24: The Kallba Short Plays Festival is in the midst of its eleventh edition, featuring morning sessions of the Sharjah Theatre Research Forum that delve into the latest academic research in theatre.
During the initial session, researcher Bilal Bouzaïb from Algeria delivered a paper focussing on Algerian theatre direction and its influence on the body, emphasising the difficulties encountered by directors in this field. Furthermore, Safia Maânawi from Morocco explored the development of theatrical costumes and their significance in performances.

During the second session, Mariam Al Rakakna from Morocco highlighted the achievements of women in theatre direction, while Ali Karim from Algeria shared his research on physical expression in theatre.

The day wrapped up with a variety of theatrical performances, such as "Lucky Employee" and "Unannounced," captivating the audience and infusing the festival with an exhilarating ambiance.
