Sharjah 24: Based on the importance of reading and learning, Sharjah Capability Development (Tatweer) is pleased to announce the next “Ruwaq” session entitled “Audiobooks”, on October 12, at the House of Wisdom in Sharjah, from 11 am to 1:30 pm.
There have been different views among supporters and opponents on audiobooks. However, there is no doubt that audiobooks are very popular today, as people are busy and unable to devote and spend time reading paper books. Preoccupation makes people replace traditional reading with listening to audiobooks whenever they have the opportunity. In the next “Ruwaq” episode, participants will have the opportunity to engage in constructive discussions and talks about audiobooks and their role in spreading information and culture, and they will also be given the opportunity to share their favourite audiobooks with each other.
