Sharjah24: The Sharjah Women’s Sports Foundation (SWS) is set to ignite the competitive spirit with its upcoming University Cup, featuring thrilling basketball and volleyball tournaments, Running from September 30 to October 9, in collaboration with the American University of Sharjah, as other universities and colleges from across the nation are invited to showcase their athletic talent.
Teams will compete in the first round on September 30, October 1, and 2, followed by the second round on October 7, 8, and 9, with matches taking place from 6 PM to 10 PM.
This tournament aims to foster a vibrant sports culture, empowering young women and highlighting the importance of athletic participation. By targeting talented female students, the University Cup not only promotes sportsmanship but also inspires a new generation to pursue their passions on the court.
