Sharjah 24: Rashed Al Qemzi, captain of the Abu Dhabi 1 boat, has made a significant mark in Emirati sports by becoming the first competitor in history to win five titles in the UIM F2 World Championship.
Al Qemzi secured this remarkable achievement during the sixth and final round of the Formula 2 competitions in Portugal, where he claimed his fifth title with the Abu Dhabi Powerboat Team. Previously, he won the championship in 2017, 2019, 2021, and 2023, making this latest victory his second consecutive title.

Nasser Al Dhaheri, Acting Director of the Marine Sports Department at the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, highlighted that Al Qemzi's achievement reflects the strong support from the wise leadership for sports and athletes, along with the ongoing interest from Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Chairman of the AE Marine Sports Federation and the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club.
