Sharjah 24: United Arab Emirates racing squads continue their commanding sweep at the summit of the Formula 1 Powerboat World Championship (F1H2O) standings following the Kyrgyzstan Grand Prix—the second round of the season—where Victory Team secured a stellar victory on the waters of Lake Issyk-Kul.

This triumph follows closely on the heels of Sharjah Team's opening-round win at the Sardinia Grand Prix in Cagliari, cementing the UAE's dominance at the forefront of international powerboat racing.

UAE drivers fill Seven of top 10

Victory Team pilot Shaun Torrente paces the drivers' championship with 40 points, closely trailed by Sharjah Team's Stefan Arand in second with 36 points. Poland's Bartek Marsalek holds third with 32 points, while Abu Dhabi Team's Jonas Andersson occupies fourth with 31 points.

Rounding out the top tier, Sharjah Team's Grant Trask and Abu Dhabi Team's Erik Stark are tied for fifth with 30 points apiece. Victory Team's Alek Wikström stands eighth with 20 points, and Sharjah Team's Rusty White shares 10th place with 17 points—meaning UAE-backed teams claim seven of the top ten driver positions overall.

UAE teams hold top three positions

In the constructors' standings, the Abu Dhabi Team leads the field with 61 points, narrowly ahead of the Victory Team with 60 points, and the Sharjah Team in third with 53 points, locking down a clean sweep of the podium's top three spots for the UAE.

The championship action will pause before resuming in October for the Shanghai Grand Prix, marking the third stop of the season.
