Al Kharous hoists UAE flag in honour of Flag Day

Sharjah 24: Al Kharous Suburb Council, a division of the Department of Districts Affairs, commemorated UAE Flag Day with a ceremonial flag-raising event organised by the council and its staff. The celebration, conducted yesterday morning, was attended by Juma Abdullah Al Mughni Al Hammoudi, Chairman of the Al Kharous Suburb Council, as well as his deputy, council members and staff.

The ceremony raised the UAE flag in a patriotic setting, reflecting deep feelings of loyalty, unity, and pride in the country's banner. Attendees participated in singing the national song, their voices filled with pride and gratitude for the UAE's accomplishments under wise leadership.

On this occasion, Juma Abdullah Al Mughni Al Hammoudi underlined that Flag Day is a beloved national festival that renews the sense of solidarity and cohesion among UAE citizens. He expressed his satisfaction with the country's extraordinary growth under the visionary leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
