An initiative has been launched to showcase the potential of mastering handicrafts, focussing on enhancing employment opportunities and promoting entrepreneurship.

The Irthi Council is dedicated to empowering women artisans by enhancing their involvement in diverse areas of contemporary crafts, art, and traditional industries.

The recent session offered essential insights for women seeking job opportunities, presenting a chance to engage in professional craft workshops organised by the council. These workshops aimed to equip participants with the skills needed to pursue entrepreneurial ventures, encouraging them to launch innovative projects that not only foster personal growth but also contribute to the local economy and bolster the creative industries.
