Al Qasimia University, World Gold Council Forge Partnership

Sharjah24: Al Qasimia University has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the World Gold Council to foster collaboration in the field of gold economics. This partnership, established between the university’s Sharjah Centre for Islamic Economics and the World Gold Council, aims to enhance joint scientific efforts.
The MoU was signed yesterday morning at Al Qasimia University's campus by His Excellency Awad Al-Khalaf, the university’s Director, and His Excellency Andrew Naylor, Head of the Middle East and Public Policy at the World Gold Council, in the presence of officials from both parties.

Professor Al-Khalaf emphasised the importance of this agreement, describing it as a significant step towards realising the university’s mission of integrating economic principles within its academic framework. He highlighted that both institutions are preparing for a major joint scientific conference next spring, which will feature leading experts and specialists in gold economics.

Andrew Naylor, Head of the Middle East and Public Policy at the World Gold Council, remarked that the MoU represents a vital step in strengthening cooperation with top academic institutions in the fields of global investment and economics, such as the Sharjah Centre for Islamic Economics.

Dr. Yasser Al-Hosani, Director of the Sharjah Centre for Islamic Economics, underscored the value of this partnership in facilitating the exchange of expertise and advancing scientific collaboration to develop new investment strategies within the Islamic economy.
