Sharjah 24: In an atmosphere filled with warmth and compassion, and as part of its community initiatives during the holy month of Ramadan, Al Subaihiya Suburb Council, affiliated with Districts Affairs Department, organised a series of home visits to residents in its areas of jurisdiction in Khorfakkan.

The visit aims to strengthen bonds of love and social communication, and to emphasise the values of cohesion and solidarity among members of the community.

Instilling values of solidarity

Al Subaihiya Suburb Council continues to implement its community programmes aimed at strengthening ties between residents, drawing inspiration from the UAE's approach to instilling values of solidarity and mutual support among members of society, especially during religious and social occasions that foster a spirit of love and friendship among people.

Visits were held to exchange Ramadan greetings and check on the well-being of residents. This reflects the spirit of brotherhood and affection that prevails among members of society and embodies the noble mission the Council is committed to achieving in promoting the authentic values embodied by Emiratis.

Council’s commitment to its social responsibility

Visits saw the active participation of Dr. Khaled Ahmed Al Shehhi, Chairman of Al Subaihiya Suburb Council, along with members and staff of the Council. The delegation met with a number of residents in their homes and listened to their friendly conversations, wishing them a blessed Ramadan filled with goodness and blessings.

Visits affirmed the Council’s commitment to its social responsibility and its keenness to engage directly with the residents of the suburb, based on its belief in the importance of human communication in strengthening the bonds of love and promoting the social values that characterise Emirati society.

Strengthening social ties during Ramadan

Dr. Khaled Ahmed Al Shehhi, Chairman of the Subahiya Suburb Council, stated that visits were not merely protocol meetings, rather, they carried the highest sense of appreciation and respect for the residents, who warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed their gratitude for this gesture, which reflects the Council's concern for them and its commitment to strengthening social ties during this holy month.

Al Shehhi pointed out that such visits serve as a bridge through which the Council can activate its community role, fostering effective communication and strengthening the values of brotherhood and cooperation among the residents of the suburb.
