Sharjah Radio has announced a new slate of September programming, aiming to bring important topics such as food security, economic hardships, education, and health to the community's attention.
The show "Here is Sharjah," which features interviews with government officials and emphasises the emirate's development projects, is at the head of the schedule. It begins at nine a.m. on Monday through Thursday.
Another important program, "Food Security," which airs every Wednesday at 10 a.m., focusses on Sharjah's initiatives to improve food security through cattle and agriculture programmes. Every Thursday at 10 a.m., Saif Al Rays hosts "The Smiling City," a chat show that discusses accomplishments by the city.
"Between Yesterday and Today" makes cultural comparisons of historical and present Emirati life, while "Youth Debate" provides young people with skills and guidance from knowledgeable visitors. Other notable programs include the science-focused "The Researcher," the financial advice program "Your Financial Consultant," and health-related shows like "Take This Advice," "Medical Situations," and "For a Healthy Community."
Sharjah Radio also airs educational programs like " Give Teacher Due Respect and "Conscious Parenting," which tackle issues related to family responsibilities and education.
The director of Sharjah Radio, Amal Abdulrahman Al Owais, says that this new cycle addresses a number of significant subjects, including Sharjah's emphasis on economic and developmental issues to improve the standard of living for locals.
In order to offer listeners programming that is both beneficial and enriching, Al Owais emphasised the significance of content diversity.
