Sharjah24: The Sharjah International Marine Sports Club (SIMSC) held its inaugural meeting with the newly appointed board, led by His Excellency Khalid Jassim Al Midfa, Chairman of the Board, at the Centro Hotel in Sharjah.
In a statement to “Sharjah24”, Al Midfa expressed profound gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for his steadfast support of both general sports and marine sports. This backing has played a crucial role in enhancing the club’s reputation on both the local and international stages.
Al Midfa also acknowledged the contributions of previous management teams since the club's inception in 2014, as well as the ongoing support from the Executive Council and the Sharjah Sports Council.
Al Midfa lauded the club for its many achievements over recent years, including its successful organisation of numerous local and international marine sports events. He also emphasised the club’s efforts in promoting marine sports culture and encouraging participation among people of all ages.
Concluding his statement, he sent his best wishes to the newly appointed board members, expressing his confidence that they would do great things for the UAE and the Emirate of Sharjah.
