Sharjah24: The 20-year-old Brazilian custodian "Piro" has joined Sharjah Sports Club (SSC) from Corinthians, the club has announced. this is the club's third signing of the summer transfer season.
According to the club's technical committee and management, "Piro" is recognised by many for his attacking prowess and is regarded as a promising young star from Brazil. He joins the club as part of a larger strategy to bring in youthful talent and give the team an opportunity to step up in upcoming events.
Piro, a promising young player, has played in more than 30 official matches for Corinthians' first squad and competed in a number of tournaments both domestic and abroad.
The player will certainly contribute to Sharjah's success with his reputation for lightning-fast counterattacks and excellent technical abilities.
The contract signing ceremony was attended by His Excellency Khaled Issa Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Sports Club and President of the Football Company, alongside several other dignitaries and the player's agents and representatives.
