Sharjah 24: On Saturday, Al Ain defeated Kalba 3-1 at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium in the second leg of the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup preliminary round, qualifying for the quarter-finals after a 3-2 win in the first leg.
The team had already secured a 3-2 win in the first leg, solidifying their dominance.
Al Ain now awaits the winner of the match between Al Jazira and Al Bataeh in the next round.
Goals for Al Ain were scored by Matías Segovia, Mohamed Awadallah, and Sekou Baba in the 53rd, 77th, and 95th minutes. Kalba's lone goal came from Yasser Hassan in the 28th minute.
