Sharjah 24: Al Nasr secured a spot in the quarter-finals of the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup (ADIB Cup) after defeating Al Orouba 2-1 in the second leg of the preliminary round. The victory came after a goalless draw in the first leg, with the decisive match held at Al Maktoum Stadium.
Al Orouba initially took the lead with a goal from Hamed Al Jaberi in the 53rd minute, but Al Nasr quickly responded. Ali Al Hajri equalised in the 64th minute, and Glauber Lima scored the winning goal in the 97th minute during extra time.
Al Nasr now awaits the outcome of the match between Ajman and Shabab Al Ahli to determine their quarter-final opponent.
