Sharjah advances to ADIB Cup quarter-finals with 2-1 win

Sharjah 24: Sharjah secured a spot in the quarter-finals of the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup (ADIB Cup) after defeating Khorfakkan 2-1 at Khalid bin Mohammed Stadium on Saturday. Having won the first leg 1-0, Sharjah advanced to face Al Wahda in the next round.
Caio Lucas scored twice for Sharjah, netting in the 26th and 52nd minutes, while Khorfakkan’s Lorenzi scored from a penalty in the 57th minute.
