Sharjah24: The Table Tennis Juniors Championship at Al Dhaid Club was organised by the Sharjah Sports Council, with the participation of 25 players. The players were from five different clubs, including: Al Dhaid, Sharjah, Al Madam, Khorfakkan, and Dibba Al Hisn.
Mohammed Youssef emerged as the champion, with his teammate Khalifa Ishaq finishing in second place. Hamdan Al Hosani from Khorfakkan secured third place, alongside Mohammed Amir from Sharjah.
This championship is a crucial component of the council's Sports Affairs and Development Department's strategy to ensure player engagement, gear up for the upcoming season, enhance skills, and discoverhidden talents in collaboration with club coaches.
In addition, there will be a joint tournament for youth teams at Khorfakkan Club to commemorate the inauguration of the new hall. The tournament will feature teams from Khorfakkan, Dibba Al Hisn, Al Dhaid, and Al Orooba clubs.
