Sharjah24: Sharjah Sports Club has announced the renewal of its sponsorship contract with Zullal Water Factory, which is part of the Sharjah Electricity, Water, and Gas Authority (SEWA). Zulal is the official and exclusive water supplier for the club. The announcement was made during a press conference held yesterday evening at the club's headquarters in Samnan.
Under the new contract, which was signed following an agreement between both parties, Zulal Water will be an official sponsor of the first football team, in addition to being the exclusive water supplier for the club. Consequently, Zulal’s logo will appear on the shoulder of the team’s jerseys in all competitions.
Sharjah Investment and Development Authority led the renewal of the sponsorship contract with Zulal Water for the seventh consecutive year. This reflects their commitment to maintaining supportive partnerships with the club’s various teams and reaffirms the unlimited cooperation between the club and all government and private entities, particularly the Sharjah Electricity, Water, and Gas Authority.
On this occasion, Ibrahim Al Jarwan, a board member of Sharjah Club and Chairman of the Commercial Investment and Development Company, said: "We are pleased to renew the sponsorship agreement with Zulal Water Factory, which is an important strategic partner for Sharjah Sports Club. This agreement reflects our commitment to enhancing cooperation with leading national institutions to serve our community and support the sports sector and athletes."
Al-Jarwan continued: "We appreciate the efforts of the board of directors under the leadership of His Excellency Khalid Issa Al-Midfa for his continued support of the investment portfolio. We look forward to achieving more accomplishments with our partners to realize our ambitious goals, and we thank Zulal Factory for their great trust in the Sharjah Sports Club brand. The club always seeks to build fruitful and sustainable partnerships with all stakeholders."
Majid Issa Huraimel Al Shamsi, Director of Institutional Support Services at SEWA, stated that the authority is focused on fostering strategic partnerships with various Sharjah entities. SEWA also supports distinguished events and activities that contribute to the ongoing development and prosperity of the Emirate under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah.
He confirmed that the strategic partnership between Zulal Water Factory, and Sharjah Sports Club is part of the authority’s commitment to its social responsibility and highlights its active role in supporting sports and athletes in the Emirate of Sharjah and the UAE.
Al-Shamsi noted that SEWA will continue to exert every effort to provide the best for Sharjah Sports Club and its loyal fans, looking forward to a bright and successful future for this partnership, which they hope will serve as a model for cooperation between the sports and industrial sectors.
Attending the renewal of the sponsorship agreement were Ibrahim Al Jarwan, Mohammed Abdullah Bourhaima, Head of Institutional Communication; Jamal Bouhendi, Member of the Football Company; and other members of the Investment Company. Representing SEWA were Majid Issa Huraimel Al Shamsi, and Majid Abdulaziz Alowais, Director of the Zulal Water Factory.
