Sharjah24: Duaa Al Mehri, Director of Corporate Communications at Sharjah Ladies Club, emphasized the club's commitment to promoting the empowerment of Emirati women through various initiatives. As part of this vision, the club recently hosted a dialogue session at its headquarters featuring Najla Al Shamsi, a member of the Federal National Council, discussing the societal contributions of Emirati women. This was followed by a craft workshop conducted by Irthi Contemporary Crafts Center, aimed at honing the skills of the participants.
Al Mehri, during her interview with “Sharjah 24,” provided an overview of a recent gathering that brought together a varied cohort of Emirati women working in both governmental and private sectors, including Al Nabooda Automobiles, National Paints Company, and Emirates Retirees Association, as well as club staff. The focus of the event was to discuss strategies for advancing the participation of Emirati women in the workforce and to gain insights from exemplary role models within society.

She mentioned that a workshop on making thread bracelets was conducted in collaboration with Irthi Contemporary Crafts Center, incorporating traditional heritage elements with modern craftsmanship, targeting contemporary women.
