Sharjah24: Mleiha City Municipality recently organised a coordination meeting to explore potential areas of collaboration with the Sharjah Camel Racing Club (SCRC). A high-level meeting was held, with prominent figures such as His Excellency Musabah Saif Awad Al Ketbi, Director of Mleiha Municipality, His Excellency Abdullah Mohammed bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Sharjah Camel Racing Club, and His Excellency Awad Saeed Harib Al Ketbi, Director of Support Services at the Municipality. Also present were various members of the club's board of directors.
At the meeting, both parties discussed strategies to strengthen collaboration, unite their efforts, promoting fostering mutual relations.

During the meeting, Musabah Al Ketbi expressed his congratulations to the club's chairman and members on being entrusted by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah. Their selection as part of the new board of directors for the club reflects the confidence placed in them by the leadership.

Al Ketbi commended the efforts and dedication of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah in the development of the Al Dhaid Camel Racing Track. He highlighted the goal of making it a venue with high technical standards, which would significantly contribute to ongoing initiatives aimed at educating future generations about the rich heritage of camel racing.

Furthermore, Al Ketbi emphasised the vital role that the Sharjah Camel Racing Club plays in preserving and promoting traditional sports, particularly camel racing. He underscored the club's crucial role in promoting traditional sports, specifically camel racing, with the unwavering support of the wise leadership.

Musabah Al Ketbi reiterated the Mleiha Municipality's unwavering support for the Sharjah Camel Racing Club, highlighting the Municipality's dedication to delivering top-notch services at the Al Dhaid Camel Racing Track. In addition, he emphasised the significance of meeting the desires of camel owners by improving different services.

Abdullah Mohammed Muadhd bin Huwaiden, Chairman of the Sharjah Camel Racing Club, expressed his sincere appreciation for the confidence shown by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, in appointing them to the club's board of directors. He commended their commitment in developing Al Dhaid Camel Racing Track. Additionally, He extended his thanks to the Mleiha Municipality for their significant efforts and ongoing cooperation with the club through joint initiatives.

During the meeting, Khalid Matar Al-Tunaiji, a member of the club's board of directors, put forward a series of proposals aimed at benefiting camel owners. He stressed the importance of working together to ensure that these services are effectively implemented, eventually benefiting Al Dhaid Camel Racing Track.
