Khorfakkan Disabled Club to compete in "Tomorrow’s Generations"

Sharjah 24: The Khorfakkan Club for the Disabled delegation departed for the Jordanian capital, Amman, with high spirits and great ambitions. The delegation will participate in the "Tomorrow’s Generations" Wheelchair Basketball Championship for West Asian Clubs, which will be held from July 13 to 19.

The delegation is headed by Allay, and includes 12 players determined to deliver a distinguished performance and raise the club's profile high in this regional sporting event, which will witness the participation of some of the strongest teams in the region.

Allay, head of the delegation, confirmed the team's readiness for the tournament, saying: "We believe in the capabilities of our players and are confident that they will rise to the challenge and represent the UAE well. Our goal is not just to participate, but to compete for top spots and leave a positive mark on the tournament."

For his part, Abdulaziz Al Hammadi, Chairman of the Sports Affairs and Talent Care Committee at the Khorfakkan Club for the Disabled, praised the efforts made by the technical and administrative staff, affirming his full support for the delegation. He said, "Our team's participation in a tournament of the caliber of 'Growth's Generations' reflects our commitment to developing sports for people of determination and honing their talents through regional and international competitions. We have complete confidence in our players' ability to deliver an honorable performance befitting the name of the club and the nation."
