Sharjah 24: The Khorfakkan Paralympic Team celebrated another impressive win on Tuesday evening, beating the Palestinian Al-Mustaqbal team with a score of 60-43. This game was part of the ninth "Generations of Tomorrow" Wheelchair Basketball Championship taking place in Amman, Jordan, from July 13 to 19.

The tournament is organized by the Ajyal Al Ghad Sports Club of Jordan, in partnership with the Jordanian Paralympic Committee and the Asian Paralympic Committee. Teams from various countries, including the UAE, Jordan, Palestine, Syria, Lebanon, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman, are participating.

Khorfakkan kicked off its journey in the tournament with a strong start, defeating the Omani team 65-43 in their first game on Monday.

Next, the Khorfakkan Team is set to face Bahrain’s Al Ittihad on Wednesday in the third round of the preliminary stage, aiming to secure a spot in the next round of the tournament.

Abdullah Saleh Al Naqbi, the Chairman of the Khorfakkan Club for the Disabled, shared his pride in the team's success, highlighting their strong skills and previous accomplishments, including winning the General Wheelchair Basketball League title for the fourth year in a row. He expressed his hope that they will continue their winning streak in the upcoming match.
